Crises can encompass serious illness or death of employees, workplace accidents, layoffs, or incidents of workplace violence. Available services include 24/7 crisis phone support, onsite crisis intervention, and educational resources.
If an employee's job performance declines, leaders can suggest the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as a potential resource to help improve their work performance. Participation in the EAP is voluntary for the employee. Leaders can also share relevant information with an EAP Consultant to better support the employee.
