Our Cardiology team is absolutely thrilled to offer this Fellowship Program to new APP graduates. We are eager to share more about our vibrant and dynamic team and the fantastic learning opportunities that await you.

Our team is a diverse and dedicated group comprising 15 General Cardiologists, 16 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), 2 Electrophysiologists (EPs), 1 Heart Failure (HF) Cardiologist, and 7 Interventional Cardiologists. In addition to our providers, we are fortunate to be supported by a remarkable group of Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), and essential non-clinical team members. Each one of them plays a crucial role in ensuring the success and smooth operation of our department, and providing excellent care to our patients.

We believe that our Fellowship Program offers a unique and enriching experience, thanks to the collaborative efforts and expertise of our cardiology team, and the support and partnership of individuals in many other departments across the organization. To be considered for the program, your application, and all required attachments, must be submitted by the deadline reflected below. After your completed application is received, you'll be contacted by our Program Manager with further instructions. Due to the competitive nature of the program, all candidates will be required to complete a brief 3-question video call.

In addition to your application, the video will be utilized to determine which candidates will progress to in-person interviews. The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Team and Admissions Committee will thoroughly review all applications before making a determination on which qualified candidates will be invited to interview in person at our corporate office.

The Cardiology Fellowship is open to:

• Nurse Practitioners (APRN) or Physician Assistants (PA) who have met the advanced educational and clinical practice requirements to be considered a graduate of a certified APRN or PA program within the 12 months prior to interview day.
• If currently employed as an Advanced Practice Provider, employment may not be longer than 9 months as of interview day.
• Candidates must be board-certified as Physician Assistants with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, or as Nurse Practitioners by either the American Association of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurse Credentialing Center, or sit for your boards (and pass) at least 3 months prior to beginning the program.
• Must hold a valid unencumbered Nevada license as either an APRN or PA, or must have submitted your application and are pending review and approval by the board. PAs are encouraged to apply to both the Board of Medical Examiners and the Board of Osteopathic Physicians.
• Must be able to commit to a 3-year period in Southern Nevada (program is 1-year in length and graduates will remain for an additional 2 years as full providers).
