Pediatrician or pediatric specialist?
Let's figure out which doctor is the right for you
Well-child visits are also a good time for parents to raise questions and concerns about a child's development, behavior, nutrition, safety and overall well-being.
During a well-child visit, a pediatrician will:
- Assess the child’s growth
- Perform a physical exam
- Track growth and development
- Discuss nutrition, physical fitness, and immunizations
This is a time for you to ask questions and discuss any health-related concerns.
