B.E. F.A.S.T. - Know the signs of a stroke and how to respond
Responding quickly is important because in the first minute of a stroke, the brain loses an estimated 1.9 million cells, which means every minute counts.
B.E. F.A.S.T. and call 911 when you see these signs:
- Balance problems
- Eye (vision loss)
- Face drooping
- Arm weakness
- Speech problems
- Time to act
It was the efficiency, the hospital, the medicine, the time - everything counts
