We treat secondary and primary bone cancers.
Bone cancers are rare and are known as primary cancers because the cancer begins in the bones. It's more common for us to treat a cancer that starts elsewhere, for instance, in the breast or lungs, and then spreads to the bones — this is called a secondary or metastatic bone cancer. We treat all of the main types of primary bone cancer, including:
- Soft tissue sarcomas
- Myeloma
- Lymphoma to bone or soft tissues
- Osteosarcoma
- Ewing sarcoma
- Chondrosarcoma
Experts in advanced tumor treatment
For very advanced liver tumors, we use a highly specialized technique called the ALPPS procedure, which stands for Associating Liver Partition and Portal vein Ligation for Staged Hepatectomy. ALPPS enables the removal of advanced tumors in two steps by making use of the regenerative capability of the human liver in a short period.
