Community Resource Vending Machines

Modern vending machines are evolving beyond snacks and drinks to provide critical health-related products and information. Several of these innovative machines are being piloted in Utah. Weber and Morgan Counties have vending type machines that dispense items such as fentanyl test strips, naloxone kits and instruction for opioid overdose emergencies, printed resources leading to links and contacts for a variety of community resources.

Intermountain’s COMPASS Program is one of the resources provided.
